LT806. Designed for lifting tower sections with one crane.

Lifting in the tower flanges. Quickly adjustable. Less than five minutes to change state between for example 36m tower sections to 16m tower sections.

Chicago Wind Power Expo, May 4-7    April 2009

Liftra will attend the Windpower 2009 Expo in Chicago, Illinois May 4-7. Also known as AWEA, the exhibition is the largest wind power expo in the US. Per Fenger and Carsten Hjort Bjerre from Liftra will be there - ready for a talk at booth number 3154.

Selfhoisting Add-on Crane    April 2009

LT Gantry Carrier in operation in China   December 2008

The WLL 90 ton portal crane has been completed and is now in operation at Vestas in Tianjin, China. The carrier is a remote controlled self driving crane with hydraulic transmission and hydraulic lashing. Setting new standards in precise handling, the carrier marks a step forward in enabling ‘lightweight’ factories, where the increasingly voluminous turbines are assembled on site using temporary facilities. It is possible to let the carriers work in pairs to reach working loads that meet the weight of even the largest turbine parts.
 

Newsletter   December 2008

Liftra will take up newsletter activity, starting winter 2008. With a frequency of about four a year, it is intended to communicate recent projects and to keep in contact with the growing number of clients and collaborators.

Fixture for main shaft    May 2010

LT019. Designed for changing the gearbox without dismounting the rotor. Fits NEG MICON NM1500-1650 and NM64-82 and VESTAS V82. Part of Liftra's broad range of fixtures for main shafts. Fixtures for GE and Siemens are under development.

Tower Double Stacking Frame   December 2008

Double stacking of towers has been made more efficient with the new patented tower stacking system from Liftra. Useable on all tower sections from diameter 2.3m to 4.6m and up to 65 ton.
