Liftra Expands Operations to Support Continued Growth

Liftra, a global supplier of lifting and transport solutions for the wind industry with eight locations worldwide, has surpassed DKK 1 billion in turnover in 2025. To meet increasing market demand and futureproof our growing business, Liftra is expanding in Poland.
In December 2025, Liftra acquired an additional production facility next to its existing site in Szczecin, Poland, as part of our growth strategy to secure the ability to adjust capacity and capabilities in line with market development. The Polish site acts as a central operational hub for Liftra’s internal production as well as components produced by trusted suppliers. By nearly doubling the size of our facility in Szczecin, the expansion significantly strengthens our flexibility, quality control, and scalability to support continued growth and future product development.

Funding Supporting the Expansion in Poland
The expansion of Liftra’s operations in Poland is supported by public funding from the Polish Development Fund, the Polish Investment & Trade Agency, and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. Covering 40% of the eligible budget, the funding supports new industrial investments, strengthens local production capacity, and promotes innovative and environmentally responsible technologies, contributing to industrial development and the objectives of the European Green Deal.
Timeline for Expansion in Poland
During 2026, Liftra will complete design, permitting, construction, and equipment installation, with commissioning and startup planned for 2027. The expanded site will extend existing Polish operations, including welding, overload testing, and final assembly.

Preparing for Further Expansion
In parallel with the investment in Poland, Liftra is expanding in Vietnam and China, with our facility in Brazil now fully operational. Furthermore, we are preparing for future expansion of our facilities in Denmark to support continued growth and increasing market demand.
