Liftra Continues Market Success with Innovative Technologies for the Global Wind Industry
01 July 2026

Driven by growing demand for innovative solutions that make wind turbine installation and maintenance safer, easier and more efficient, Liftra Group delivered another year of major technology milestones, continued international expansion, and strong earnings with a record revenue of DKK 1.176 million and net profit of DKK 124 million in 2025.
Continued Investment in Technology and Innovation
Innovation remains a key growth driver for Liftra. In 2025 Liftra invested DKK 53 million in development of new technologies and reached several important milestones across its product portfolio.
Key Highlights:
- The LT1200 Self-Hoisting Crane and enabling products are the major drivers of the profit in 2025, and the market continues to invest in adapting the technology for current and new wind turbines.
- In addition to supporting the major component exchange market in maintenance and service, Liftra has invested in new and innovative technology for installing wind turbines. The LT1500 Installation Crane will lay the groundwork for the installation of next-generation wind turbines both onshore and offshore in combination with the rest of Liftra's product portfolio.
- Liftra and SOLVE WIND celebrated the launch of the ATOMS offshore platform, which successfully completed site acceptance tests and sea trials during the year.
"Our continued investments in technology are driven by a clear ambition and close collaboration with our customers: making wind turbine installation and maintenance safer, easier and more efficient. The progress we achieved in 2025 demonstrates the value of combining engineering innovation with close collaboration across the industry. With the LT1500 in assembly and a full-scale demonstration planned on 21 September 2026 in Aalborg, we are taking important steps toward supporting the next generation of wind energy," says Per Fenger, CEO of Liftra.
Strong Financial Performance Supports Future Growth
Revenue increased by 41% to DKK 1.176 million in 2025, while net profit reached DKK 124 million, and equity rose to DKK 503 million. The profit before tax landed above the expected range of DKK 100–150 million.
The strong earnings performance strengthened Liftra's equity position, which increased to DKK 503 million, providing a solid foundation for continued investments in technology, people and capacity.
A satisfactory order backlog supports the outlook for 2026, where Liftra expects profit before tax in the range of DKK 200–300 million. Key risks remain lead times, geopolitical developments and fluctuations in raw material and component prices.
"Passing DKK 1 billion in revenue is an important milestone, but what makes me most proud is the organization behind the profit. We have continued to grow our global team, strengthen our local presence and expand our capacity to support customers around the world. The investments we are making today position Liftra for continued growth and enable us to stay close to our customers wherever they operate," says Jens Mortensen, CEO of Liftra.
Expanding Global Presence and Capacity
To meet increasing market demand and futureproof our growing business, Liftra continued to expand its manufacturing and service capacity. Liftra now operates from eight locations worldwide, employs more than 750 professionals, and delivers equipment and services to more than 30 countries. Liftra also continues to invest in talent development, supporting 48 students and trainees across the organization.
Expansion Highlights:
- Denmark: To support continued growth, Liftra has acquired an additional property in Aalborg, effective 1 July 2026. The facility is strategically located close to Aalborg Port and provides easy access to the motorway. The expansion is partially funded by EIFO.
- Poland: In December 2025, Liftra acquired an additional production facility next to its existing site in Szczecin and thereby nearly doubling the size of our facility.
- China and Vietnam: To accommodate continued growth, Liftra also moved into larger facilities in both China and Vietnam to strengthening our regional presence and operational capabilities close to key markets in Asia.
- Brazil: Six LT1200 Self-Hoisting Cranes are now fully deployed, enabling Liftra's local team in Brazil, to provide rapid support for major component exchanges across the region.
